
Takayuki Ono is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Group. Leveraging his previous career as a professional journalist, Mr. Ono maintains a robust practice assisting the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Securities and Exchange Commission, and state attorneys general in investigating and prosecuting fraud allegations. Most recently, Mr. Ono represented the relator in a lawsuit against a global telecommunications company alleging that the company committed fraud by overcharging schools and libraries on their phone and internet bills. He also has experience in initiating whistleblower claims under seal before the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Ono received his law degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
