David Chizewer, a principal in the firm's Litigation Group, appeared on a panel during a live interactive Federal Judicial Center webcast. The webcast entitled Recurring Issues in False Claims Act Litigation, took place from November 19, 2013.
The panel discussion focused on significant aspects of qui tam litigation that provide an opportunity to explore in-depth the relationships between the United States, qui tam relators, and defendants. The webinar was aimed at attorneys and judges who handle FCA and qui tam cases. Other participants included a federal judge, a Department of Justice official, and an attorney who represents companies accused of wrongdoing in qui tam lawsuits.
