An Illinois federal judge ruled that the whistleblower case against KBR Inc. could proceed, saying that the former employees who brought claims were the original sources of information that fueled the lawsuit.  The suit claims that KBR Inc. purchased & stockpiled unnecessary equipment using a $30 billion defense contract.

Whistleblowers Geoffrey Howard and Zella Hemphill are represented by David J. Chizewer, Frederic R. Klein, William C. Meyers, and W. Kyle Walther of Goldberg Kohn as well as attorneys at Constantine Cannon LLP and Phillips & Cohen LLP.
