
Joe Hoolihan is an associate in the firm's Litigation group. Mr. Hoolihan focuses on complex commercial disputes, including False Claims Act matters. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Hoolihan has handled all aspects of pleading, motion practice, and discovery. He also has experience handling trial preparation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement conferences.
During law school, Mr. Hoolihan served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Marvin Aspen, former Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In addition, Mr. Hoolihan was a member of Northwestern’s Bartlit Center Trial Team, where he competed nationally against some of the best student advocates in the country.
Mr. Hoolihan earned his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado.
